This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are starting their life as a lifelong learner. They are gaining confidence and their ability to learn to share and play fairly with others. Many live in apartments and do not have the space to play outside to build their large muscles. Building their large muscles is the gateway to fine muscle movement needed to hold a pencil, crayons, and other small objects. It is my job to help my students to be successful both academically and physically to help further their success in life.
My Project
It's time to get up and get moving again. My preschool students have been sitting in front of an iPad zooming all year. I'm so excited to be able to return to school and allow the kids to get out of their houses into the sunshine. Please help my students to get tricycles to ride around the playground and start building muscles! We are a Title One school and all of my students live in apartments and haven't had the opportunity to experience zooming around on a tricycle. Please help them to zoom around the playground b helping buy tricycles for them!
