Help me give my students study plastic envelopes as homes for their learning games and laminating film to cover our learning cards so we can practice our skills to become better readers, writers, and mathematicians.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Have you ever tried to keep your valuables in a Ziploc bag? They work for a while....but soon they begin to have holes. It would be wonderful if we could keep all of our reading and math games in plastic envelopes that would not wear out and would snap our games into safe homes!
We use Ziploc gallon bags right now that work well for leftovers, but not so good when we are continually opening and closing our games.
These bags work well at first, but just imagine if you had to use the same Ziploc bag for every leftover you had for a whole year! Our Ziplock bags are worn out! It would be wonderful to have sturdy plastic envelopes with easy open and close snaps to keep our games safe and ready to use so that my students can practice foundational skills that they need to become better readers and mathematicians.
I would also love to give my students laminating film to cover the learning cards we create and use to practice foundational skills to be better readers, writers, and mathematicians.
