This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious and energetic.

Students come to class with anxiety and lots of other issues.

I am trying to create a Zen Zone in class where students can calm down and relax.

It will help them to focus better in to do my science assignments.

We have lost our amazing social worker from our site due to budget cuts, and it will be difficult to deal with the issues every day and do academics with them.

They perform better when they are sharing their anxiety with an trusted adult and hopefully will be able to relax in the Zen Zone.

I am moving to a bigger room and hopefully, this project gets funded, and I will be able to create this place for them.
