A cozy corner provides a safe place where children can go when they feel overwhelmed. Since it is their first time in a classroom, they can use it to relax and calm down from the sensory overload of the classroom. It will be a place they can use when they feel various emotions like sad, mad, tired, or frustrated. Sometimes we (even three-year-olds) need to take a break.
The Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats will give my students a special place to sit away from the rest of the classroom.
The liquid sensor viewers can offer a valuable focus to my little ones while they may need to calm down from an overwhelming emotional experience. It can be challenging and at times difficult for a preschooler to understand what they are feeling, and how to express and manage them. The Feelings & Emotions Dough Mats and the Stack & Build Emotion Kids will allow my students to explore their feelings and learn how body language can help us recognize emotions.
