This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students will benefit for a safe space to take a break from the pressures of school helping them develop self awareness, improve their ability to regulate their emotions, behaviors and manage stress effectively . These space will provide opportunities for my students to engage in mindfulness practices like meditation and guided relaxation. It can help to reduce classroom disruptions and create a more positive learning that will impact positively on their academic achievement. A Zen Den space will support mental health and wellbeing fostering more positive and supportive learning environment for all the students.
