This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My special needs preschool students come from a variety of backgrounds and have a variety of diverse disabilities and needs. My students are fun, happy, and excited to come to school to learn every day!

Snack time is an important part of our day!

Snack time is a great opportunity to not only try new and exciting things, but a chance to work on social-emotional skills as well as independent functioning skills, such as self-feeding.

Having a variety of snacks in the classroom makes snack time easier, because I can provide the same snack for all of my students, instead of individual snacks. This encourages students to try new things together.
