This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Food brings people together. Snacks do just that at school! At the end of the day or during lunch, students gather for a time of socialization around snacks. This social time students exchange snacks and learn the art of negotiation and sharing. The snacks were carefully selected to reflect the student's interests and favorite snacks. Not all students are able to bring a snack to school, and this will give them the opportunity to also have a snack after a long day of school or as an alternative when we go on a field trip. Each student will have the opportunity to enjoy a snack they love.
