This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students face many challenges in and out of the classroom. Not only do they have a disability, but most come from low-income, single-family homes. My job as their teacher is to create a safe and engaging classroom where they can develop a love for learning.

Most of my students do not have the ability to bring a snack to school.

Having a snack bin in the classroom will help students focus or I will be able to give them something before they head home. There are no nut allergies, but items like chips, granola bars, cheez-its, etc would be great. Thank you for taking an interest in my project and for supporting my students.
