My Project
As we start our second semester, we will be completing a lot of middle of the year testing in math, reading, grammar, and science. These assessments are used to help us form student groupings and plan for our lessons and review sessions as we start preparing for our state testing in May.
Our 6th graders work hard all year learning a lot of new material and passing the state assessment is crucial for electives they will be allowed to take in middle school.
The peppermints will be distributed to all testing classrooms so students will have something for a little energy boost when they start to feel tired. We need the sandwich bags to portion out the peppermints for each classroom. The Goldfish will be for their hungry bellies because on testing days lunch times get pushed back later and no one can focus when their stomach is growling. We are also always in need of pencils for every day use and especially on the test days.
