This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students all come from low income households and recieve 100% free lunch. Their families cannot afford a lot of extras because they are barely making ends meet in this tough economy.

Students need rewards for doing their best in school.

Summer is often long and boring for students. I'd like for them to have fun little tokens of appreciation for doing their best in math, reading, science and writing. They will be able to color, play, and enjoy a few prizes while they are on vacation. It will keep their minds sharp and their bodies physically fit before they return to school.
