My students are ready to learn once they walk into my classroom each and every morning. They are eager to see what each day holds, and they are always ready to give the day their best work.
I teach in a Title I school in Alabama where a majority of our students receive free or reduced price meals.
My students are caring and compassionate learners ready to make a difference in the world around them. Each day is an amazing adventure.
My Project
I am requesting Seat Sacks for my classroom. The ability for a student to feel safe during these unprecedented times is a major factor in the up and coming school year. The Seat Sacks will be an added measure of student safety and protection. Students will be able to individually store pencil boxes, math manipulatives, classroom library books, and other personal items. This will prevent the spread of germs and contamination within the classroom. These Seat Sacks will assist students in feeling safe, and their supplies will be stored securely and separately from others. Students will come to school each day with peace of mind, ready to learn, and face the expectation of the day.
