My Project

Flexible seating is very important to me and my students. I want my students to feel comfortable so they can focus and do their best work. I also want my students to have the flexibility to "move" about the classroom. Students who are able to move around the room and use flexible seating get more movement in a day than those who stay at their desk. These seatings will also allow for students to work together in small groups around the room. For my students to have options, we need a variety of seating so there will be enough for more students to take advantage of this. I want students to feel free to move to a spot and be able to work comfortably around the classroom. This will give the students the confidence to complete their work. I like for my students to feel they can make decisions about their learning and pick a spot that works best for them. These lap desks and other flexible seating will give them those options.
