Believing that within you in the ability to change the world is the first step in making a differences." - Dan Waldschmit This quote describes the students in my class that will be working towards making a difference within the community.
The 20 students that will participate in these philanthropies will be making a difference in the lives of others.
They are always lively and ready to learn. When you walk into the class you are greeted with smiles, chatter, and happiness. They enjoy hands-on learning and being able to teach others how to make a difference in the lives of others who less fortunate. My students want to show the world, how to make someone's day just a little bit brighter.
My Project
My students are interested in making their community a better place. We need the fleece requested in order to make blankets to give to children in need. We want the fleece because we want to make the lives of others just a little bit easier. We will be using the fleece to create "no sew blankets".These materials will help my students to have a better understanding of how important it is to sometimes put others before ourselves. These materials will help my students to make a difference in their community, as well as learn more about the community they live in. It will also help my students to be more aware of the world around them. We hope to encourage others to do their part within the community too!
