My Students
My students come to school each day and leave behind all the difficulties of their home lives. These kids are an inspiration! My students live in extreme poverty, but they don't let that hinder their drive for success! Our school is a unique, one-of-a-kind opportunity for these inner-city kids to get the most out of their education through academic rigor and recognition for their hard work, and I am determined to do what it takes to help them achieve that!
My Project
My students live in the highest poverty area of the city. Many live in such poor living conditions that I want them to come to school and have a very comfortable and cozy room!
My students need Harry Potter decor to make our room inviting, comfortable, and a safe haven!
Many of my students are becoming Harry Potter fans because of my love, as well as our reading of the books! I have decorated with odds and ends here and there but would love a few more things to make the room feel as inviting and magical as possible! I want them to feel at home and know that this is their home away from home!
