First graders love to dress up! I want my students to be excited about science, so if they look like scientists they will feel like scientists. So it’s a win-win! We need lab coats and science kits to do that.
I would like to plan special days where we transform our classroom into a laboratory and do fun science lessons.
Students will dress in their lab coats and eyewear and do fun scientific experiments. Hands-on learning is always best. Making learning fun is memorable and rewarding. A lot of times science takes a backseat in lower grades, but exposure to science is so important!
