This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom library is an area where my students read independently on the rug or on our comfortable chairs. The students treat all books with care and they are excited to read in every opportunity possible.

With these new books, my students will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of fun and interesting books that they already enjoy reading.

Reading is important for all students, and the best way to increase their reading fluency skill is by providing them with books of their interest. My students really enjoy reading independently, and this project will help enrich their experiences in reading. There is nothing that makes me happier than a classroom full of learners reading their favorite books!
