My Students

I am opening a new classroom at our center this school year! My classroom consists of enthusiastic and curious young learners with active imaginations and kind hearts. Some of the children are English language learners while encountering their first classroom setting. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for my students, focusing on literacy and language development. As a class, the foundation for learning is set through small group literacy, art, mathematics, and science activities, while balancing the school day with social-emotional problem-solving and self-help practices. Thank you for your contributions and kindness towards our class!

My Project

My young readers are enthusiastic book lovers who enjoy gathering for story time. We are looking to enhance our exciting read-aloud experiences and classroom literacy center with unique, imaginative new books. Please help us to add to our wonderful library collection.

We appreciate exploring diverse characters, settings and important themes.

The children also appreciate vivid illustrations and thoughtful text. We use book discussions to bring together our classroom community and to share important ideas. The children cherish our reading time together and often retell their favorite stories to one another.
