This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There are so many lovely memories that our class makes throughout the year. Over the first trimester, I've been taking photos of our class and printing them on instant film so that the kids can actually hold and see the photos taken. In this day and age, so many of my students have never actually held a physical photograph in their hands! I had the idea to have students document their days through their own eyes with a kid-friendly camera.

Help raise some young artists in our class that can take and display their own photos of the way they see the world.

I'm looking forward to seeing the way that my students choose to express themselves through photography and hope that we can even have a gallery walk for others to see!
