My Project
Through this project, students will have the opportunity to learn mindfulness within our classroom. We will focus on increasing our skills and enjoying our time through play with friends.
Students will have the opportunity to work in groups and interact with one another as they build confidence, develop teamwork, and problem solve with these hands-on building materials and SEL resources.
Students with strong social-emotional skills are better able to cope with everyday challenges and benefit academically, professionally, and socially. From effective problem-solving to self-discipline, from impulse control to emotion management and more, SEL provides a foundation for positive, long-term effects on kids, adults, and communities.
