Young Me Tai Chi Relaxing Exercises

My Project

Many students both in the regular and SPED are impacting by COVID-19 not only experiencing social-emotional loneness but also academic gap according to recently research and SBA tests.

This program will help all participants (everyone is welcome) via this Tai Chi relaxing exercise twice a week in which to start a busy school day or to relax his/her body, mind, and spirit after school.

Moreover, students also learn the basic communication of Mandarin Chinese (Greeting, Chinese characters, name, numbers, daily conversation and culture practice…etc.)

Those request items are needed for the beginning and advancing groups with one main instructor and an assistant to be conducted outdoor. The Young Me Tai Chi is 5 weeks program to begin with and at least for 3 months to see the effect. A similar community program has been organized and practiced two years with a Hawaii public/school library for adult friends at North Shore Oahu communities.

All participant can reduce stress and focus on his/her own breathing to be able to promote both physical and spiritual well beings. A peace and calm mind can support students' classroom behavior as well as a positive condition for academic learning.
