Young Learners Exploring Their Senses Through Sensory Play!
Help me give my students sensory sand, water, and fine motor play items to help them explore their senses and help my young learners in their early development.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My young learners love to create, explore, learn, and play. Sensory and fine motor play is so important for their early childhood development. Through the power of play, my young students can explore their senses in a fun, hands on, interactive way. This will help them question the world around them.
Sensory play is a great tool to work on many areas of early childhood development.
Through sensory play and learning, we can work on fine motor, gross motor, language, social emotional, and play skills development.
The sensory items in this project will be so beneficial for the areas mentioned above. Sensory play offers hands on interactive learning opportunities because young children learn best through active engagement. My young learners will be so excited to learn about the world around them with these new materials.
