Help me give my students activities to allow them to learn more about engineering at a young age and to explore the world around them.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. W.'s classroom raised $962

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students have dealt with remote learning, the flooding of our school, and temporary relocation. We are looking forward to having students explore and be kids. They are learning a lot from the engineers, architects, and construction workers who are building our new school.
I would like the students to see themselves as engineers and scientists while enjoying being kids.
The materials requested will assist them in learning more and exploring. Students will explore with water to become less frightened of it but still understanding its power and how it flows. The books about engineers and the kit will allow students to understand more about the engineering involved in creating different things.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
