My Project

My students are so energetic and love spending their day building using various tools. I am so excited for my students to get these specific tools to help build their engineering skills. These activities are great for indoor recess, and as the weather gets colder we find ourselves indoors a lot. I want my students to have access to educational tools that will build creativity and an interest in engineering.

I know if we get these tools(gears and magnetic center) my students will spend hours of learning time with their peers creating pathways, and building machines in multiple ways.

These tools are also great at building gross motor skills. Gross motor movements are important for young children to practice as they develop because they help young children learn how to coordinate and control their body movements. Gross motor skills also help lay the foundation to be able to complete fine motor movements such as pinching or grasping.
