This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first graders are the most energetic, bright, and creative students I have met! They look forward to building with the few LEGO bricks that we share each week.
These new LEGO sets will help my students create and build what they imagine!
Each week we have been working with partners to build and create with LEGO. I have observed them create things like city parks, buildings, vehicles, spaceships, and imaginary creatures. They often ask for more doors, windows, wheels, and people to complete their creations. This project will help us to continue to work on projects and engage in the engineering design process!
