My Project
We are a pre-K to fifth grade school. We are a Title I-funded school with many ELL and special needs students. We have about 800 students. We have a very diverse population with many students being immigrants.
My students love technology and are always eager to learn something new.
If this project gets fully funded, the children will be given such a unique opportunity to code through play and socialization. The children will be exposed to coding at a very young age. There is a lot of thinking involved while using this activity set. This project will give my students their first hands-on experience with coding and they will love it. There are many skills involved, such as sequencing, reasoning, reading, collaborating with others just to name a few. My children would be thrilled to have the Code and Go Mouse Activity sets. My students love using technology and this activity would be an introduction to coding!
