Young Artists Need Supplies

My students need construction paper, scissors, and collage materials to help them create masterpieces and help them express their emotions.

My Students

My classroom consists of fourteen mixed age groups of three, four, and five- year-old students who attend a full day preschool program that encourages each individual's learning needs through play. The students in my class work extremely hard all day long through play by working together and problem-solving. They are always excited to learn new things and go on new adventures in our classroom especially through reading. My students come from families who work hard and want the best opportunities for their children. My class has amazing students who put a smile on my face every day and motivate me to be the best possible teacher!

My Project

In my classroom art area is open every day for work time. It is a very popular area in my classroom filled with future artists. One thing they love to do is draw pictures. They enjoy it so much that I am running out of colored construction paper to put on our shelves. We also are in need of scissors. The scissors will help my students with their fine motor skills. Some other materials my class is in need of are collage materials so my students can use their imagination to create 2-D and 3-D masterpieces. Receiving these art materials will help the children express their feelings and emotions in a safe way, practice and gain fine muscle control, and make choices and problem solve.
