My Students
Do you remember how much fun it was to get your hands dirty and create fabulous art projects?
My class has 18 pre-kindergarten students who love learning.
They are excited to come to school and love to explore, ask questions, solve problems and work on projects. At our school, 54% of the students receive free lunch. My students are creative and curious and I want pre-kindergarten to be an amazing experience for them.
My Project
My students will be studying families and communities, transportation, the planets and many other things. I would like them to use paint, paper, and collage materials to do art projects in which they create pictures. Also, I need Play-Doh so they can build things during center time. I believe that art projects give students with different learning styles more ways to learn. I think that incorporating art in all of our content areas is essential. It provides students with rich and enjoyable experiences that support them in expressing personal ideas and meanings.
In an early childhood classroom, it is important to support students' artistic development.
I want to create an environment in which I can foster my students' creativity. Having these materials will help me to set up art projects that support all learning areas
