This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My young learners are always curious and interested to explore new things. I love to see their faces light up when they are excited about learning something new. They are kind, smart, funny, and so excited about being in school with their friends. My young learners love to draw and use the art materials in our classroom art center. Most of our learning happens through different centers. The art center is a very popular center. In the art center our students can let their imaginations soar as they create beautiful and unique artwork.

Our classroom is missing a very important artist tool, a painting easel.

I would love to provide my students with the opportunity to be creative and make beautiful paintings on their very own easel.

Our young learners can develop some great skills by regualry painting. While painting on the easel our young learners can develop responsibility by following certain steps to get prepared to use the painting easel. Painting can provide a great emotional outlet. Finally, painting can help develop fine motor skills for our young learners.
