Young Artists in Need of Supplies

Help me give my students the supplies needed to become great artists. The recent budget cuts have made getting expensive supplies like clay and glaze nearly impossible and even made getting basic supplies like paint hard.

My Project

Due to recent education budget cuts, our small school district lost the federal funding that sustained our art program. These funds had been the primary support for our school district’s art program. As a small district, my middle school art classes serve only a few hundred students, yet these cuts have had a profound impact. This year, our supply budget covers only a quarter of what we need for the full school year.

I believe every child—no matter where they live—deserves access to quality art supplies so their creativity can thrive.

Every child deserves access to a wide variety of supplies so their creativity can flourish, and so they can gain confidence in their artistic abilities. Your contribution will go directly into students’ hands, giving them the same opportunities as those in larger, better-funded districts.
