Help me give my students colored diagrams! They need to see the diagrams as they appear on the state test, not from my black and white copier.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Bates's classroom raised $317

My Students
The students in my biology and Human Anatomy and Physiology classes are a mixture of general ed and special education students. They work together to make sure that every student is included and involved. Most of my students live in a rural area of the county and come from low-income homes.
The students sitting in my classroom make the future a little brighter!
Although many of them face daily obstacles that we could never understand, they come in energetic and ready to learn every day.
My Project
With access to a color printer, my students will be given the opportunity to have more precise visuals as they prepare for the Mississippi Biology State test. This is a test that they must pass in order to graduate. Having colored diagrams of cells, DNA, and other structures in our curriculum will better engage the students and better prepare them for this important test.
With this color printer, my students WILL be better prepared for their future.
Not just taking a state test, but also if they choose to go to college. I feel that they deserve every opportunity to improve their education, and this is a way that we can improve.
Presently, we only have a black and white copier, so the diagrams that they see in class are not the diagrams that they will see on their state test. As you can imagine, a black and white diagram loses a lot of detail. Also, during these uncertain times, we never know when a student will need to work from home, this will give me the ability to print and send work home for them to complete.
More than half of students from low‑income households
