My students need an iPad to use during center time.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Dilbeck's classroom raised $550
This project is fully funded
My Students
My four and five year old students are multi-sensory learners, an iPad is one way they can use several of their senses to experience new learning opportunities, while doing it at their own pace.
I teach 40 precious Pre-K students who are eager to learn.
We are all excited to be at a school where the staff lives out our motto each day "Every Child...Everyday...Whatever It Takes." To do that we must all work hard, but hard work always pays off and then we must play hard! The students at our school know their school "rocks".
My Project
With an iPad in the classroom the students would be able to work on many different skills using a multi-sensory and individualized approach. There are apps available for reviewing letters, letter sounds, numeral recognition, as well as tracing and writing.
The iPad itself will help provide practice in the area of fine motor skills. I can also attach the iPad to my SMART board in order for all the children to see the screen at once so directions can be given or we can play a group game.
The possibilities for an iPad in our classroom are endless!
I would love to know that while I am doing small group instruction with a group of children that I could have a child or two on the iPad working on an app that was appropriate for their skill level. Any donation to this project will make a lasting impression on the lives of some very precious children!
