My Project
"Mrs. T, I want to be an artist when I grow up," one of my second-grade students exclaimed. At this age, my students love to imagine and create. So, I wish to use visual arts to inspire and help their love of learning. I want to bring out the little Picasso in each of them.
You can assist my class in becoming more creative by providing the necessary basic tools such as river rocks so they can create exquisite works of art.
I intend to integrate their learning of rocks, pebbles, and silt science unit into visual arts by painting their pebbles with luminous paint. So, each student would have his/her own little buddy "rock" that would glow under the black light. Please put the right tools in their hands so they can excel in their creativity.
