Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is a pre-K through 8th grade inner-city school. We are working hard to improve after our school was restructured 4 years ago.
We narrowly met annual yearly progress for attendance last year, with 92.9% attendance, but this year our goal is increasing and so are our efforts!
By providing high quality incentives, we will increase student enthusiasm. Our supply of incentives from previous years are limited in their scope and are running out, but we want to reward students for their commitment to showing up to be educated.
With your help, we will be able to make our attendance goal, and more importantly, we will provide educational activities for students and high quality education to them 180 days of the year.
