You Gotta Love Art!

My students need the basic art supplies like paint, paper and glue to succeed in school. We will incorporate art in all learning areas for the children to use freely.

My Students

The students I teach have a strong love for hands on learning. I like to incorporate art throughout my academic curriculum to maximize learning. My young learners become creative and adventurous by the end of the school year, as they should!

My students are the youngest in the building.

They come from loving families that may not be able to offer any extras due to economic conditions. They come to school and for the first time may be introduced to what some would call basics, like paint, play dough and markers. It us my job to help them grow into excited, intelligent school citizens through lessons offered. I hope to be able to introduce them to learning through exciting innovated lessons and activities in my classroom.

My Project

Through the use of art supplies like paper, paint, ink, stamps etc...my students will discover that hands on learning is fun! I don't want to have to limit the use of supplies because we run out so quickly, and with the new materials I am requesting I will be able to incorporate art throughout my day in many lessons. The stampers are wonderful for my students with poor fine motor skills and allow them to spell and produce writings just like the ones who are able to manipulate markers and crayons a little better.

The materials will replenish my art supplies which are essential for good quality hands on daily lesson planning.

My kids will benefit from the supplies greatly from the minute they arrive! I have had to close up certain areas in my classroom due to lack of supplies recently and I would love to reopen them with new and improved options for the kids!
