My Project
I teach the world's cutest 3 year olds (seriously, we can't go anywhere in the school without someone oohing and awwing!). We are a class of special education students. My class is aptly called the "Cool Cats," because, yes, it IS like herding cats all day! Help us be successful in class by donating seating options for my students.
Heavy-duty laundry baskets are actually NOT a typo- they are a "boat" [of course!] and are perfect for students to spread out and gently rock to their own waves.
A durable rug with clearly marked sections provides easy visuals for students learning personal space. Wiggle cushions and chair attachments allow students to meet sensory needs without disrupting others. A vinyl couch can withstand the wear-and-tear of busy bodies while also providing a comfy place to curl up with a book (and perhaps a stuffed animal cat in our laps!)
