This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A love of books is an important skill to teach our early childhood learners. In my classroom, my goal is that each child becomes a forever reader! Throughout the year, I introduce them to many different genres of books, and for the Christmas Thematic Unit, we read The Gingerbread Man. Year after year this is a class favorite and with your help, I would like to gift each of my students a copy of The Gingerbread Man so that they could enjoy this story with their family year after year.
For many of my students having a book at home is not a reality but with your help, I could get these beautiful hardcover, high-quality books in their homes.
