This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I LOVE to read! I LOVE books! Reading is fundamental! Reading opens doors to the world. I want to the journey of fostering the love of reading within my students. Most of my students struggle to read and do not enjoy it. Part of the battle is they have not discovered genres that they like.

Help me give my students book treats!

In my class, my students can take and keep any book they would like, as long as they read it. Help me stock my shelves with book series such as Juni B. Jones and Dog Man. There are some books that will also help me with meeting their social emotional needs. Any help to stacking our shelves will be gladly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
