This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a special education teacher working in a low-income area, there are several obstacles my students face. I want to help and provide my students with the best they need to succeed.
The students in my classroom are students with learning, speech, and emotional disabilities.
If I could describe my students I would say they're creative, funny, and unique. I provide my students with a safe, comfortable, and caring environment where they can be themselves and share their creative minds.
My Project
My students are on different educational levels and are English Language Learners. Since many of my students are below grade level and on grade level, it is good to use small group instruction in order to differentiate the lessons and cater to each group's needs.
By having some learning game activities, I can break the class into centers and have them learning and playing games while I work with my small groups.
I am asking for these math and literacy games to help my students practice the skills they have learned. These games will allow them to learn and have fun at the same time.
