This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a school of approximately 650 students in the Triangle of North Carolina. We are a Title I school with about 67% of our population receiving free and reduced lunch.

My students certainly deserve cutting-edge, interactive, and FUN technology to enhance their learning.

We are just getting started integrating technology into our curriculum, and would love to be able to provide more resources to these students. Our theme this year is "Building the Foundation for Success," and our students need this technology in order to help them.

My Project

I am requesting 40 headphones to go into 4 classrooms. Each classroom has a set of 10 iPads. Students use these iPads to listen to e-books, watch educational videos, and practice skills in literacy, math, science, and technology through a variety of apps.

Quality headphones are absolutely vital to ensure that students remain engaged in the classroom.

Something that seems so simple is a luxury for many of my students. These headphones will allow students to interact personally with the technology in the classroom without distracting others. Our teachers will appreciate your support in getting the most out of our resources.
