My Students
Our students come to our school often as a last resort. Many have been removed from other settings due to behavioral issues but our school provides the small structured setting that makes learning conducive and gives them opportunity to thrive!
My Project
During the spring, remote teaching proved to be difficult working with my small Chromebook. I would love to be able to use a digital whiteboard for live instruction with my students. If I had this device I would be able create mini lessons that provide clear and concise examples, jot notes, and help to replicate the in-person classroom learning experience. All of my students receive special education services and come from low-income communities. Visuals are crucial to their understanding of concepts and utilizing this tablet would help me reach them most effectively. Thank you for considering a donation to this project!
