Help me give my students books about mental health so that our classroom library has something to show those who struggle that they are not alone.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at what is called a school of choice. We provide an alternative to the traditional high school setting. We cater to students whose circumstances require flexible hours, personalized instruction, immense emotional support, and a small-campus setting that allows us to meet them exactly where they are.
Our students realize the importance of graduation, and they come to us with that goal in mind.
They are a diverse group of learners, and each brings a unique set of talents and circumstances.
My Project
We do not have a campus library, so every book we add to a classroom library is essential in growing students who are lifelong readers. We read for the first ten minutes of class every day. It is a time that has become sacred to my students. They love to talk about what they are reading, and we celebrate when someone finishes a book (often the first book in their lifetime).
I would like to add a mental health section to my own classroom library so that my students who struggle with depression, anxiety, and a myriad of other issues know they are not alone.
Representation in our library is very important to me, and this is just another way I can make their choices more diverse. I want every student to be able to find a book that speaks to them and their journey.
