My Project
It has come full circle. We used to want students in English classes to use technology because "they'll need to know their way around technology". Well, they know their "way around technology" better than many teachers. They know how to access AI to answer comprehension questions and places online to find already-written essays about "Macbeth".
We need these materials so I can have students write on old-fashioned paper, using pencils or pens and their brains, without the help of technology. If they use the internet to answer questions about their understanding, it's not a true measure.
This classroom project was brought to life by The Montgomery Family Fund
