My Students

We believe that every student, no matter what, should have the chance at college success! Many of the students in our college-prep school would be left behind in other educational settings. Luckily, at Impact Academy, they are buoyed up by educators with the passion to ensure success.

This year, we will be opening a brand new middle school!

Over 120 seventh graders are signed up and ready to join our growing community of innovators, creative thinkers, athletes, and change makers!

My Project

One of the best part about being a founding student is getting to make decisions about what your new school becomes. When we asked our incoming students about what they were most worried about, our students replied: "PE!" While PE was fun for many of us in school, it can be the scariest, most stressful part of the day for students who are nervous about their appearance or don't think they are good at sports. That's why our "PE" class will be a mixture of team building games, dance, theatre, and physical activities that are inclusive and fun for all types of students.

Our new multi-faceted PE course is now a highlight for our incoming students!

A major part of the class each day is a warm up to get everyone ready to move. But, our students said they didn't really want to sit on the dirty ground. That's why they need these yoga mats. "But yoga is so weird..." many of them think. Here's the surprise: the mats aren't just for yoga. Yes, they'll learn some yoga moves, but the mats also ensure each person has their own personal space to stretch and move through the warm up routine. It's the part of the class that's been the biggest hit in the past, and now with new yoga mats, our students will be in even better shape.
