Yoga Mats and Flexible Seating to Support Student Mental Health

My Project

Providing students with flexible seating allows students to have opportunities for movement while learning. Students sit in chairs all day that do not support good posture and do not support focus and attention. This is especially true for neurodivergent students who may struggle to maintain focus during class instruction. Wobble seats can allow students to work through their struggle to stay focused and support student mental health by creating a classroom environment that respects all student needs.

Yoga allows students opportunities to develop emotional regulation.

I am a certified yoga instructor and I would love to incorporate yoga opportunities in my classes. However to do so I need yoga mats.
