This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to be at school. They love to learn, and they enjoy being an important part of their community, and I would love to give them a glimpse of extraordinary possibilities for their future selves.
I aspire to build a classroom filled communicators and collaborators.
By providing students with opportunities to read about and role play the collaboration and communication necessary to plan and execute complex engineering tasks, my students will have endless opportunities to develop these important traits. When my students look at our their future possible selves, I want them to see themselves in every possible position that piques their interest. Engineering is a role I would like them to explore.
This project is requesting a set of marble runs to help my students explore the roles, responsibilities, planning, execution, and collaboration needed to become an engineer. Additionally, the disinfectant wipes requested in this project will help to keep the materials clean an safe for repeated student use.
