My Project

Hello all! I am starting a new position at AES which is an IB school, and I am hoping to start early on my teaching goals by incorporating cross-curricular activities and experiences in my classroom and supporting the mission of the IB curriculum. We will be learning about an ecosystem with our wonderful class pets (a Beta and Kuhli loach) that have already been purchased by me. Hopefully, the fish feeder will help keep our friends fed on long weekends and breaks. We also have a lovely garden view outside our room for observational drawing and want to keep our winged friends fed as well as observe them, which is where the clear birdhouse comes in handy!

I'd love some classroom supplies that are STEAM-friendly so the kids can utilize them in their learning, early finishes stations, increase their engagement, and help me keep organized this upcoming school year.

Some squeeze bottles to mix custom shades and re-use paints, games/ activities, and organizational pouches for each student are some of the listed items. There are so many wonderful ways to incorporate art in daily life and along with other content areas and I am looking forward to making that clear to my students as we start next year off with some hands-on applications and discoveries.
