My project needs a camera for students to share and use to create a yearbook. Our school is only in its third year and we have limited resources to provide typical high school opportunities.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. S.'s classroom raised $131
This project is fully funded
I am a middle/high school language arts teacher and curriculum director for a small, urban school. Our educational focus is project-based learning and providing academic opportunities for students who have not performed well in traditional school settings.
Our students are very interested in becoming involved in technology and competing in a global market, but the school has limited resources to provide these things. We would like to move our yearbook program to be more student-directed by sharing resources with them so that they can use their creativity and develop technology skills.
Our school is small, so providing just one, basic digital camera will allow many students to become involved in the yearbook project from photography to graphic design.
You will make it possible for our students to take ownership in their own yearbook and ultimately their education.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
