This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Special education students have had to share a classroom with younger students in my middle school the past year. For my students, it is difficult enough to focus, but having the distraction of multiple teachers and students in one room made the learning environment chaotic! We also were sharing a lot of supplies making them worn down and not last.

Finally, after sharing, we have our classroom!

Due to the split, we are low on a few necessary supplies. These are essential to closing the learning gap my students are faced with! These are supplies we will use throughout the year on various math and writing assignments! We will use poster papers to post resources and tips around the classroom. The white boards will be used to do group assignments and for games. Privacy boards will be essential to students who need more privacy and less distractions when taking test. These are just a few items we need to have a prosperous new school year! I appreciate your support!
