This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our kids love the calming and relaxing activity of weaving. They love it so much that we are almost out of yarn! We need more so that all of our students can continue to weave.
Kids of all ages benefit from learning and practicing fiber arts. We make Ojos de Dios, paper plate circle weaves, and simple weaving on a loom. We are also learning how to sew, and are using yarn for these projects too.
This yarn will last us for about 2 years. Thank you for supporting our school! We appreciate it!
