My Students
Our class is located in the wonderful city of Detroit. We are a Title I school with 100% of our student population receiving reduced-rate or free lunch. My students are eager to learn and love hands-on experiences.
Despite their hardships, my students love to come to school and engage in learning activities.
They are extremely appreciative of what we do have and show it when they engage with learning materials at school. They are hard workers and deserve the best!
My Project
My students are more engaged when they are given a choice about where they work. The Jumbo Magnetic Letters and Unifix Cubes will help them with letter recognition, and they will be extremely beneficial for my students' education.
I wrote this project because it will help bring out more skills and creativity from the children.
My pre-k children love to explore a variety of materials that will allow their individual minds to develop and grow tremendously. I have seen that learning through play and having a choice to work independently can positively affect children and hope that these additional options will help them learn and grow.
